BBC micro:bit Champion School

BBC micro:bit has been aiding and benefiting STEM education worldwide, in particular the training of programming and computational thinking of students. The dedication of educators sees the rising prominence of STEM education and micro:bit movement in Hong Kong.

The Hong Kong Association for Computer Education (HKACE), joined hands by CityU Apps Lab, are now inviting schools that are using the technology well and supporting the micro:bit movement to become “Micro:bit Champion School” (the Award). The Award, with also the endorsement of the Micro:bit Educational Foundation, is a recognition of a school’s contribution and commitment to embracing BBC micro:bit to their STEM education.
