(a) Associate Membership
The following persons shall be eligible to become Associate Member: Currently practising full-time teachers, administrators or staff members (with at least qualifications and experience equivalent to a Registered Teacher with the Education Department, Hong Kong) of Universities, Polytechnic, post secondary colleges, the Education Department, secondary schools, primary schools and kindergartens shall be eligible to become Associate Member [AMACE].
(b) Professional Membership
The following persons shall be eligible to take up Professional Membership:
(i) Associate Member who teaches computing subjects, and/ or uses computers in education or school administration may apply for Professional Membership; and
(ii) There may be different types of Professional Membership: Professional Member [MACE], Senior Professional Member [SMACE], and Fellow [FACE], depending on the qualifications, proven relevant experience, and recognised significant contribution of the individual candidate in computer education. These candidates shall be elected either by examination or exemption, by nominations from the Council, or by conferment. All applications for the different types of Professional Membership shall be reviewed and approved by the Vetting Committee.

Criteria for admission to the professional membership
Application Form for membership upgrade: Associate Member to MACE, MACE to SMACE, SMACE to FACE
Deadline of Application: 30 April, 2023
(c) School Membership
The following institutions shall be eligible to become School Member: Post secondary colleges, secondary schools, primary schools and kindergartens interested in promoting the use of computers in education shall be eligible to become a School Member.
(d) Affiliate Membership (Individual or Organisation)
The following individuals or organisations shall be eligible to become Affiliate Member: Individuals, corporations or firms interested in promoting the use of computers in education shall be eligible to become Affiliate Member.
